Pride Meme 2022

Updated: Sep 11, 2022

1. what’s your gender?

Male.

2. what are your pronouns?

He/him. They/them is only allowed if you want to keep me completely anonymous (including my gender) or you don't know my gender. Otherwise, please use strictly he/him.

3. is your family accepting?

My mum's side of the family is very accepting.

4. what do you wish you could tell your past self?

Growing up isn't like what they portrayed on TV. Being a teenager isn't glamorous, and being an adult is even harder. You'll be struggling a lot, but it'll be alright.

5. what is your sexuality?

Asexual and omni/biromantic. I tend to prefer men with at least 40% masculinity, and women with at least 40% femininity. My beauty standards for both can be described as "narrow, but varied", having a somewhat specific, yet somewhat varied "type" for both sexes. I might consider a neut or androgyne, but they'd have to be as androgynous as possible, including having surgery if possible. But that's just for aesthetics and some bits of personality preferences.

Sexually, of course, I don't care for anyone. I don't get turned on by the idea of sexual intercourse, sexual acts, genitalia, or typically sexualized parts like breasts and posteriors. Seeing these things make me feel apathetic, I have no desire to interact with them either aside from brief moments. The thought of personally interacting with genitalia specifically, especially penetration, makes me uncomfortable. I don't desire anybody sexually. I do have a fetish, but it's for a particular, non-sexual action, and for that, I'd only rely on my partner (if they consent to) or visual media such as videos, films, and artwork to satisfy it. I simply want to kiss (including French kiss), cuddle (whether clothed or mostly nude), hold hands, share food/drinks, touch a person's neck while they swallow, and perhaps give sensual massages at most.

6. favorite color?

Dark violet, mustard yellow, chocolate brown, mahogany red, and definitely black.

7. sun gay or moon gay?

I love the heat and colors of the sun, but the darkness of the sky that comes with the moon. An even mix.

8. when did you find out your sexuality?

I've known I had an aesthetic and romantic attraction to males and females since I was about 5 or 6. I found out I was asexual when I was about 11.

I pretended to be 16 a few years ago (and, funnily enough, I'm finally 20!), and hung out with a lot of men who exposed me to drawn pornography regularly. I found an artist whose NSFW art I really enjoyed, but I could never understand comments that expressed sexual arousal because all I really saw was "beautiful art"—I didn't care for the content and it didn't excite me, I just loved the way it was drawn. After a while, I decided I was most likely asexual... especially when I noticed a lot of my friends were starting to experience arousal toward genitals and such and talking to me about it. To be fair, they were already 15-16, so it made sense. However, as I grew more and more, I thought that at my age, I would've been experiencing the same feelings, but even at the age of 20, I still haven't... at least, not toward genitals or conventional sex things.

9. how was your day?

7/26/2022: I had a great start and a great dinner. Only problem was missing someone but that got resolved easily.

10. do you have any gay friends?

In real life, I have no friends—at least, not anyone in my area, but online, I've had quite a few friends who were bisexual, Uranian & lesbian, transsexual, epicene, et al, over the years, and I have LGBT relatives.

11. what’s your favorite hobby?

Reading and researching. Drawing comes secondary, writing tertiary, and watching things I like come quaternary.

12. who’s the best gay LGBT icon in your opinion?

Natal men: Cesar Romero, George Cukor, Rock Hudson, Montgomery Clift, Randolph Scott.

Natal women: Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford, Tallulah Bankhead, Marilyn Monroe.

Transsexual men: Scott Turner Schofield, Dr. James Barry, Ljuba Prenner, Zdenek Koubek, Luke Hudson, Kater Schnurz (YouTube), West Coast Elements (YouTube), Viktor Belmont.

Transsexual women: Jacqueline Charlotte Dufresnoy, Christine Jorgenson, Diana Tourjee, Natalie Wynn, Candy Darling, Lucy Hicks Anderson.

13. which pride flags do you like the most design/color-wise?

I like the asexual pride flag's colors. Unpopular opinion, but I actually like the colors of the black/white heterosexual flag. I know it seems monotonous and it's a bit unfair to heterosexuals since the LGBT flags get to be colorful, but I simply enjoy black and white stripes so this version of the flag appeals to me. I also admire the omnisexual flag's colors and the way they're aligned. Design-wise, I prefer the transsexual flag over the transgender flag.

14. are you openly out?

Yes. I'm out and about.

15. are you comfortable with yourself?

As a creature, I still hate myself. For my LGBT status, I've always been comfortable.

16. bottom or top?

No thank you.

17. femme or butch/twink or bear?

Twinkish.

18. do you bind?

Not into bondage.

19. do you shave?

Not usually.

20. if you could date anyone you wanted, who would it be?

Greta Garbo or the actor, Doug Jones.

21. do you have a partner (s)?

Not at the moment.

22. describe your partner (s)?

N/A.

23. have you ever dated anyone of the same gender?

Yes.

24. anyone of another gender?

Yes.

25. pastel gay or goth gay?

Goth, definitely.

26. favorite dad in dream daddies?

Damien Bloodmarch and Hugo Vega.

27. tell me a random fact about yourself?

I would love to get into chemistry someday, but it requires an understanding of advanced mathematics and math has never been my strong suit. I have a passion for genetic engineering and extreme body modifications and would love to someday help bring those wishes to life, for myself and for others... that is, if my art career doesn't take off by the time I'm 45.

28. do you own any pride flags/merch?

I don't care too much about my LGBT status to wear it out. It's fine if it's important to you, but to me, it only matters when I'm actually trying to date someone (or asking for relationship advice, I guess).

29. have you ever been to a pride parade?

Naw. Don't go out much and I don't know where to find one, never did.

30. any advice to someone who isn’t out or who is exploring themself?

There's no need to rush in figuring yourself out. Take your time.

For those with possible SSA/MSA, don't be afraid to "explore" with people (so long as they consent). It's not wrong. It's not perverted. It is normal and natural. It is not wrong to think the members of your gender are attractive. It is not wrong to want to explore things with them. You are not wrong. You are not immoral. You are not insane. You do not need therapy, treatment, or any other kind of intervention.

For those questioning their gender, there is no need to rush into having HRT. You do not need to rush into surgery, either. If you are uncertain, make sure you do all your research—all that you can—before making your final decision. Just know you do not need to fit into a specific gender label. You don't have to label yourself as any specific gender and you do not need to feel pressure to transition into a certain gender. Just think about it and make sure you know what you're doing and that what you're doing is good for you and will make you happy. Try to think about how your decision will impact your future. Try to question all motives, sort out your mental health and anything related, think about your future as your chosen gender, and make sure this will benefit you in the next 10 years or more. I will not delve into identity politics or anything related to that. All that you need to know is that your health matters and comes before anything else. This applies to mental health as well. Anyone who says otherwise and tries to force you into anything can rot in hell. Ultimately, so long as you're over 16 or 18 (depending on jurisdiction), you have the right to make your own decisions. If you do decide to transition, it is perfectly valid to be open about your transsexual status or live a stealth life and never let anyone (but sexual partners and medical professionals) know about it. Try to explore all options available before taking a permanent dive. That aside, being transgender is just as valid as being cisgender, there is no shame in being transgender, there is nothing wrong, immoral, or insane about being transgender, you are not a freak or delusional, things WILL get better for you, and you get to decide how you want to live, ultimately.

As with being anything, all that matters is that you do not harm yourself or others, whatever you are. Do unto others...

For those who aren't out, you don't need to come out. You don't need to tell anybody. You are not wrong for not telling anyone. You can do so on your own time. Do whatever makes you feel safe.
